It all started with a Kulfi franchise business. One thing was getting into our nerves with every passing day, not the Kulfi, but the unnatural aspect of it - colours, flavours, preservatives etc. And our kids were in love with Kulfi and that’s when we decided to make our own Kulfi without any artificial ingredients; 100% natural and healthy Kulfi. With all the excitement we packed our bags and set forth to learn how to make natural Kulfi. The more we learned, the more we got to know about the unnatural part of it. And everyone seems to be well versed in food science. Eg: For Pista Kulfi, add Pista Green artificial colour and Pista artificial essence. That was easy but not what we were looking for. We went back to the drawing board and decided to do our own experiments with Natural flavours. We tried close to 80 Kulfi flavours with all-natural ingredients and finalised 30 flavours. And for Pista Kulfi, the colour and flavour were from real Pista; nothing else. We did not stop there, we tried Chai/Tea, Coffee, Kulfi Milk, and more. We kept on experimenting till we could see the sparkle in the eyes of our kids, family and friends while relishing our products. It took us one and half years of effort and all these had some natural side effects, a bit of pride and we have put on few extra kilos. KULFICHAI™ is not just a person’s dream.
